Solar Surface using photoshop

Feel the heat as you make an image of the suns surface in 7 steps.

1. Create a new document (400×400) with a transparent background. Press the key D

2. Go Filter > Render > Clouds then go Filter > Render > Difference clouds. Press Ctrl-F 3 times.

3. Filter > Render > Lighting Effects and set the Style as Flashlight.


4. Filter > Render > Lighting Effects and use the following settings:

Style: Blue Omni

Intensity: 100

Gloss: 100

Material: 100

Exposure: 100

Ambience: 50

5. Invert the colors. You can do this either by going Image > Adjustments > Invert or you can press Ctrl-I.

6. Go Filter > Distort > polar coordinates. For the Options, use Polar to Rectangular.

7. Duplicate your current layer by going Layer > Duplicate Layer. Set the new layers Blending mode to Overlay and make the Opacity 50%.
